UNIT 4 

Unit 4a

LESSON 2
    
  1. A:Are there any restaurants around here that was supposed to be really good. 
         B:Yeah, The new Turkish one around the corner is supposed to be excellent. And there is a good Italian restaurant two blocks away. We were supposed to go there last Friday, but I had to work late. 
     2. A: The weather is supposed to be beautiful this weekend. Do you have any plans.
         B: Yeah, I'm supposed to go to my parent's house. They're planning a surprise party for my birthday, and I wasn't supposed to know about it, but my sister told me about it last week. 

     3. A: How was your weekend? Did you do anything fun?
         B: Not really. My friend was supposed to come and have dinner at my place, and then we was supposed to see a movie but she got sick and couldn't make it 
         A: Well, I wasn't supposed to do anything because I had to study, but I went out anyway. 

LESSON 3

  1. The weather is supposed to be windy.
  2. I'm supposed to have a picnic with my son on Sunday
  3. There is a new movie Sodura is supposed to be good.
  4. I was going to go to picnic with my son, but I was busy so I’m going to do this weekend.
Unit 4b

LESSON 1b

1.      I usually get off work early on Fridays. I leave at about 3:00.
2.      I don’t like to stay at work late. I always try to get home by 5:30 to cook dinner.
3.      I was so busy last week that I didn’t get around to doing my homework.
4.      I’m usually late, so my friends are always saying, “We have to get out.”
5.      Sometimes I get along that people are annoyed with me for being late.
6.      I like going out after class. It’s a chance to get away with my classmates.
7.      It’s hard for me to finish long novels. I just can’t get over them.
8.      I don’t know why people dress up for weddings. I just don’t get it.
9.      I’ll never get used to wearing formal clothes. They don’t feel right.
10.  I wish I could get going wearing jeans all the time. They’re so comfortable.

Unit 4c
LESSON 2a

1.       A. So, what do you think of surprise parties?
 B. I don’t know. I’ve never had one or been to one.
 A. So, no one ever gave you one? Do you think your friends would ever do that?
 B. No. My friends don’t do that kind of thing. So probably not.
2.    A. Has anyone ever given you a gift as a surprise, for no reason?
       B. Actually, yes. My friend gave me this great book.  So I didn’t expect it.
       A . So it wasn’t for your birthday or anything?
       B. No, she just gave it to me because she wanted to, so…
3.    A. Have you been to  any good parties lately?
       B. Well, I’ve been very busy at work recently, so…
       A. So, you haven’t been going out too often, then?
       B. No, I guess not.

Unit 4d
LESSON 1c

LESSON 1d
   1.       Introvert
   2.       They prefer to spend time alone, independently.
   3.       Determined, good listeners, creative thinkers, very knowledgeable about their selves
   4.       People think that introverts tend to keep information to themselves and cannot contribute enough.
   5.       They feel that party is meaningless.
   6.       It is important to find the balance of having a occupation where you can  be extroverted and still have time for yourself.
